IPTV Subscription: 1, 3, 6 or 12 Months? (2026)

⚡ Quick Answer

Every plan has the same channels — so the only decision is length and screens. The real monthly cost of a 1, 3, 6 and 12 month IPTV subscription in the UK.

The short answer

Pick 1 month to test a full month of fixtures, 6 months to cover half a football season, and 12 months for the lowest monthly cost — £3.75 a month on Streamelio. Channels, VOD and 4K are identical on every plan; only the length and the number of simultaneous screens change.

When each length makes sense

  • 1 month IPTV subscription — you have finished the free trial and want a full month of evening and weekend use before committing.
  • 3 months — a summer tournament or a block of fixtures, without paying for the off-season.
  • 6 months — August to January, or January to May: half a Premier League season.
  • 12 months — the cheapest per month. It is the plan most long-term subscribers choose.

How many screens do you need?

You can install the app on as many devices as you like. The limit is how many play at the same time. One screen suits a single living room; choose two or three if someone else watches in another room during the match. More detail in IPTV on multiple devices.

Beware "lifetime" IPTV subscriptions

A "lifetime" or 5-year IPTV subscription is paid up front for a service that can disappear. A 12-month plan already gives the lowest monthly price without that risk. Read how to choose a reliable UK IPTV provider before paying for any long term.

A simple way to decide

Work out how many months of the year you actually watch live sport or box sets. If it is most of the year, the 12-month plan is cheaper than buying shorter plans back to back: four 3-month plans cost £96 against £45 for twelve months on one screen. If you only watch during the football season, two 6-month plans or one 12-month plan bought in August line up with the fixtures. And if you are unsure the service suits your home broadband, start with the 6-hour trial, then one month, before committing.

Screens: count people, not devices

Count the number of people who might watch something different at the same moment — typically one per TV in use during a match. Devices that are switched off do not count against your limit, so a household with four TVs but two regular viewers only needs a 2-screen plan.

FAQ

Does my subscription auto-renew?

No. Every plan is a one-off prepaid payment with no auto-renewal and no contract — you choose whether to renew when it ends.

Which IPTV plan is best value in the UK?

The 12-month, one-screen plan at £45 is the best value at £3.75 a month. Two- and three-screen 12-month plans cost £60 and £75.
